The J-E-T-S Situation

Something about what the Jets are doing is puzzling me. I'm not impressed with their team at all. Furthermore I'm
not impressed with their 1 star receiver. The guy is no Calvin, or Fitzgerald, and even if he were....who's going to throw it to him? My Tebow Projections are looking more like week one. With Tebow at QB it gives the Jets an extra RB option...and that's it. That to me is the most successful set it. It's simple but tricky. You have a more durable Michael Vick in Tebow who can hand it off, and share carries with the RB %25 of the time, and then once in a blue moon use his arm to trick the unsuspecting defense. I find this set up more valuable than whatever Sanchez has offered thus far, I think the Jets do too. I think in week 1 if Sanchez is not wow, we will see Tebow start the second half. Sanchez is not horrible I think he's actually a good back up QB if he were lucky enough to back up a decent QB for a few years like others have. (Romo, Rodgers, Kolb, Flynn) Have a good example. Sanchez was thrown into the fire, and he's no Eli, he's no Cam newton. This is the year in comparison to others that he has to be SIGNIFICANTLY better than years past . Hopefully for his sake he can do it. Im not worried about Tebow he will survive and have opportunities elsewhere.

This ECF series is misleading The Celtics are not that good

What the celtics are good at is posting up, and gong hard in the paint. But they lack everything else. Miami gets into this bitchassness mode in the 4th quarter where they don't want to be anywhere near the basket. All of a sudden they're all Tony Kucoc popping jump shots. What's the issue guys? Do you want it or not. Lebron is starting to man up and taking those 4th qrt shots he needs to take. He even hit one, I hope Skip Bayless has nothing to say today. But I'm a bit surprised at Dwade. He knows what is needed to win. He knows how to attack strong. He even did it in this series, so I'm a bit dumbfounded as to why he didn't attempt it I'm this winnable game.

All that said this is a good series so far and better than expected. But the officials need to go.

Here you go Celtic fans:

Lakers are in Trouble

This is an amazing time, to bare witness to the passing of the torch as  we watch Kobe go down in flames. 6 Rings? It's looking like a pipe dream now. OKC Thunder are too much. With that said, maybe this game was a wake up call to Kobe. Maybe we are in for the performance of his career dropping 60 a game. Good luck kobe fans, you'll need it.THUNDER UP OKC T SHIRT

Entry 3: NBA Teams on my mind right now

Watching the 4th quarter of the Clippers game against the Suns, and I dunno *shrug* this looks like a team of the future. CP3, Blake, this is no gimmick...if refined. Bulls are insane. I vouch for that. I give credit where credit is due when your star is out and your "winning!". Thunder up Mutha fucker. I have to admit I think Durant is good all by himself, but Westbrook is very strong. Nothing they accomplish this year will surprise me. What they fail to accomplish will. The spurs. I'm just saying their name just because...There I said spurs. When will their respect end? Gosh damn. See that's me being humble. Knicks:seriously WTF. Nets: just signed Jay-Z,...what? he was available. :-p He has the blue print for success. My dream NBA FINALS for 2012: Clippers vs Heat.

Allsportstees Smack talk blog Entry 2

New York Jets...Tebow Time?

Hello folks welcome to the second installment of  Allsportstees Smack talk blog discussing today's sports topics.
The New Orleans Saints: Let me put my two cents in and say that I find something wrong by allowing Sean Payton to hand pick a a hall of fame coach in Bill Parcels to replace him during his time of suspension. A few days ago I was all the way 100% against the idea. Because its almost as if the NFL's sanction failed. However yesterday as I was listening to sports radio 660 while driving (in my Mrs. Beastly who currently has a strut Booboo :-() one caller pointed out and brought to light that the punishment was intended to penalize the coaching staff,....not Saint fans. I guess I'd have felt better about it had Sean not been the one personally involved in getting Parcells. But as it stands it makes sense, and I am fine with it. As for Payton's appeal? I say fat chance. Serve your time, sit yo ass down.
Allsportstees on New York Tebowmania: Ok ok, the whole thing is a publicity stunt. Yes yes, The New York Jets  have no real plan for Tebow ok. You win your argument. *shrug* BUUUUUT, see thats not where the story ends. Being a jaded new York fan (Giants Excluded), the fact that we now have Tebow is going to bring so much attention to the sports area for better of for worse. I watched the entire saga of last season on the Tebow support side of the fence and in almost every situation I sympathized with the circumstances he has been dealt.  Now is no exception. The Jets really do not deserve him. And for that I feel sorry he even has to play there.
Mark Sanchez is no huge step up from Tebow. If will power were a measurement towards QB skills Tebow would be at the top. He is a born leader. Leadership qualities is a hard thing to teach, to me
it's harder to teach than throwing mechanics and accuracy. Mark Sanchez and many other quarterbacks in the league lacks this quality. The elite QB's have it along with the physical skill...well that's what makes them elite. In tie wherever he ends up Tebow will be well rounded. I look back and laugh at the Broncos Peyton acquisition, what a risky move to get rid of the proven back up and replaced with an injured all time great HOF. I dunno,...but I see holes in that plan. I laugh at the Jets for paying Sanchez with a new contract when they did. What happened to the phrase "wait and see"? Unfortunately the for Sanchez the Tebow stage has been set up. Instant hot seat. If I were a receiver I wouldn't want to be a jet right now either, but if I were any other position, HELL YES! I'm not making any predictions but when you have Tebow expect the unexpected. Critics have been waiting for the kid to give up an follow status quo. He does not care what is "normal" or "acceptable" he doesn't live his life that way.  He just sets his goals and keeps moving forward. Shouldn't we all be living that way? I'm not a hardcore fanatic like Skip Bayless, but I do know that the kid knows how to win.
